Winter weather brings fun-filled activities to Park Brook Elementary!
On Saturday, Feb. 5, students in grades 3, 4 and 5 will have the opportunity to participate in the Minne-Loppet and Luminary Loppet! The Minne-Loppet is a cross-country ski race that students are preparing for in phy ed class with the cross-country ski lessons. The Luminary Loppet is a magical experience with 1,000's of ice luminaries, fire dancers, a musical band with ice instruments and more. Between the Minne-Loppet and Luminary Loppet, dinner will be served.
Parents are welcome to join the fun!
Saturday, Feb. 19 is the Kidarod sponsored by the YMCA, open to all students in grades 1 - 5. This is an outdoor obstacle course that students have had a fantastic time at in past years.
With the ever-changing nature of COVID, events may change.
Information and registration will be sent home with students.
