The Loppet Foundation & Cross Country Ski Lessons

The cross-country skiing season is here! Students in grades 3 – 5 will begin ski lessons the week of November 28.

The Loppet Foundation kindly provides all of the equipment and then sponsors a ski event for the students in grades 3 – 5 on February 4, 2023, during the City of Lakes Loppet Winter Festival.

Students in grades 3 – 5 will ski during their regular physical education classes on Tuesdays or Wednesdays each week, with the schedule slightly adjusted to lengthen the ski time.

Students should come prepared, as they should every day, to enjoy being outside during the winter.

More information regarding the City of Lakes Loppet Winter Festival will be available after Winter Break.
