PTO Tuesday, April 19 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
The PTO meeting on Tuesday, April 19, 2020 will be held at the Minneapolis Bouldering Project (MBP). MBP is located at 1433 West River Road N. in Minneapolis.
Space is limited. Please call the school or email Mr. Taylor if you are planning on attending. We need to know who is coming and the number of family members coming. Students are welcome to come with their parents/guardians to the PTO meeting.
A waiver needs to be completed for every person entering MBP. Please complete the waiver for every individual attending the PTO meeting. The students (kids) will have the opportunity to climb, but adults will not be climbing.
Mr. Taylor met with MBP and there are opportunities for students from Park Brook to go to MBP. The PTO meeting will provide an opportunity for parents and staff to see the facility, for students to try climbing, and for the adults to discuss ideas about future trips to MBP.
We will meet at MBP at 6 p.m. However, if you would like to carpool, please let Mr. Taylor know and those interested in carpooling will leave the school at 5:40 p.m.
At MBP, we will meet in the upstairs rear of the building to begin the meeting. Snacks will be provided. The students will be able to climb after 6:30 p.m. There will be coloring sheets and snacks for students until 6:30 p.m.
When the students are climbing, the adults will be both supervising and brainstorming how to incorporate MBP into Park Brook. In addition, this is a time for parents/guardians to discuss other topics of interest, ask questions, and also address concerns.
